WebThe PennSTAR Flight Program is the 501 (c) (3) nonprofit critical care air and ground medical transportation to the Tri-State Area within a 100-mile radius of Penn Medicine. PennSTAR provides rapid transport of critical care patients between medical centers, as well as "on-scene" services at the site of accidents and trauma-related incidents. WebOur helicopters will carry a Nurse/MD, NP/Paramedic, NP/Nurse, Nurse/Nurse, or Nurse/Paramedic team. All RN helicopter crew members are dual licensed with both RN and EMT-P or EMT multi-state licenses. Our critical care ground ambulances have an AEMT, Critical Care Paramedic, and Critical Care Nurse.
