I have been to Cuba 10 times and this was my second visit to Varadero this year. I was at Gran Memories just before Xmas,no bottled beer only draft and it flowed freely.There was an empty booze dispenser in my room,nothing expect bottled water in mini-fridge.It didn't bother me as there was no shortage of hard liquors in pool bar and lobby.
